How does remote hearing aid adjustment work?

Your hearing aids must first be registered in the AudioPlus database before a remote adjustment can be carried out. The hearing aid user must also have the corresponding hearing aid app installed on their mobile phone. The audiologist will help you download the correct app and pair your hearing aids with it.

You must be connected to your home Wi-Fi or have a 5G mobile data connection.

The audiologist connects to your hearing aids remotely while you are at home. This allows the audiologist to adjust the sound based on your experiences and feedback. You can provide verbal feedback about the sound through your mobile phone, while the audiologist can offer advice and make adjustments accordingly.

Who is this suitable for?

This method requires the user to be able to manage and maintain their hearing aids independently.The user must have a smartphone with Bluetooth and a wireless internet connection at home. They must also be able to use and navigate their smartphone, or have assistance from a family member or carer.

Users who live a long way from their audiologist: This is an effective way to save travel time for those who do not have the time or ability to travel long distances. For example, people who are working or studying and whose time is valuable.
