Hearing aid follow-up

Haven't you been getting the full benefit of your hearing aids?
Poor sound or unclear speech perception can be caused by several factors.

With us, you receive thorough mapping and follow-up so that the devices work optimally for you.

We always start with a thorough review

  • Checking the ear canal and conducting new hearing tests

  • Hearing aid servicing and updates

  • Re-adjusting the gain

  • Replacing the dome or ordering molded earplugs

  • Sending in for repair if necessary

Objective control and verification
If the challenges persist after adjustments, we can perform a verification of the hearing aids.
This is an objective measurement of the actual sound and amplification your hearing aids produce. The measurement shows whether the sound meets international standards — and whether it is a perfect fit for your hearing.

Why verification is important
No two ears are the same. Even with identical hearing aids and hearing, two people can experience sound differently.

With objective measurement we get:

  • Precise insight into how the device actually sounds to you

  • Ability to adjust the gain precisely

  • Detected any “noises” or resonances

How the test is done
The test is quick and completely painless.
A thin tube is carefully placed into your ear canal while you wear your hearing aid. You listen to simulated speech noise, and the results are displayed immediately. We can then make precise adjustments — on the spot.
