We will fit you with a state-of-the-art hearing aid solution, or follow up on your current hearing aids. After you have performed hearing tests, we will find out what type of hearing aid is right for you. We will fit you and give you more options to choose from, or update your current hearing aids and filling solution.
Audiographic services
AudioPlus Norge with its independent audiology clinics is completely private, which means that you choose to pay for both services and products. We have short waiting times and up-to-date expertise on the latest products available.
Consultation with a GP and ear, nose and throat (ENT) doctor prior to the hearing aid fitting is therefore not necessary. This is an excellent solution for those who want quick help. We can also offer rental of hearing aids in the period until you receive new hearing aids via NAV, if preferred. It is also possible to carry out remote adjustment of new hearing aids if you are unable to travel to our clinics.
If we detect or find symptoms that you need to undergo an ENT examination, we recommend further referral to an agreement specialist via your GP.
We offer two different customer processes in connection with the fitting of new hearing aids:
Do you need completely new hearing aids? During 5 consultations you will receive:
Extended hearing test and information about purchasing hearing aids
Hearing aid assessment/mapping and possible casting for molded earplugs
Hearing aid fitting and information about use and care
Information about hearing aid insurance and trial period
Customization of mobile app and possible additional equipment for mobile and TV
Hearing aid check and adjustment of sound image and other functions as needed
Final check and payment for hearing aids if you do not want to stand in a long health queue in the public sector
Starter package with service products for hearing aids
NB! When renting hearing aids while waiting for new hearing aids via NAV, you pay monthly rent in addition to the consultation.
Do you need to renew a lost hearing aid? During 1-3 consultations you will receive:
New hearing test – if needed
Assessment with a view to ordering hearing aid(s) and earplug(s)
Assistance with reporting loss to insurance if needed
Fitment of new hearing aid(s) and earplug(s)
Follow-up check of sound image/amplification if needed
Further follow-up:
Once you have been fitted with new hearing aids, you will be offered an annual hearing and hearing aid check.
Hearing can change and hearing aids may need a check and update.
If necessary, we will:
Update the software in the hearing aids
Change the earplugs and tubes
Change the filters and clean the microphones
Change the experience level in the hearing aids – so that it suits you now
In cases where your hearing has deteriorated, we adjust the amplification and other functions in the hearing aids. The same applies if you and your brain have become more accustomed to sound – the experience level in the hearing aids should then be updated.
If the hearing aid is defective, and we are unable to repair it, we will send the hearing aid to the main supplier for repair. This type of repair is usually covered by NAV. You will then be offered to rent alternative hearing aids during the period your hearing aids are in for repair.
If you do not want an annual call for a check-up, it is possible to book a consultation as needed. This also applies to hearing aid users who have received their hearing aids at other audiology clinics
