If you experience tinnitus, which is prominent almost all the time, it is important to get help and get a good explanation of what the cause may be.

HEARING MAPPING

Our audiologists will perform both an ear examination and various hearing tests such as air conduction tests, bone conduction tests, speech tests and discomfort tests. We also perform In-situ audiogram tests, where you wear a hearing aid while we assess your hearing.

Ear examination and hearing test

When you test your hearing, we can determine whether you have normal hearing or not. We also see if your ear canals are free of earwax or other damage or foreign bodies through the use of video and image examination. The hearing tests also show where any hearing loss is located in the auditory organ.

Current ear examinations and hearing tests form the basis for the need of adapting or readjusting hearing aids and/or other technical supportal aids connected to your daily life, work and other needs. After completing the ear examination and hearing tests, we can, if necessary, recommend further referral and examination by a contracted ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialist named Eivind Kvittingen (Otomed). You will get a quick reply digitally through a digital journal system named Helseboka.

We can also print out audiograms in connection with applications to the Police College, offshore certificate etc.
