In collaboration with the Norwegian Association of the Hard of Hearing (HLF) in Heim, we invite you to our Hearing Days on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 9–10, 2026, where we will focus on hearing health and prevention, hearing assessments, and the use of hearing aids.

Free Talk on Hearing, Noise, and Preventive Hearing Protection

On both Wednesday and Thursday evening, you are invited to attend an information session focusing on hearing and preventive hearing protection.

Authorized audiologist Jorid Løkken will talk about hearing, noise, and preventive hearing protection for various situations where you may be exposed to loud sounds or noise, such as:

Concerts, Shooting Ranges, Hunting, Industry, Kindergartens, Music, Motorcycle Riding, Nightclubs, Construction and Building Sites

Wednesday: Kyrksæterøra Library, 6:00–7:30 PM Thursday: Municipal Council Chamber in Liabø, 6:30–8:00 PM

An Opportunity to Talk to Both Hearing Professionals and Peer Supporters from AudioPlus and Hørselsforbundet

On both Tuesday and Wednesday, you can meet audiologists and peer supporters from Hørselsforbundet in Heim. Hørselsforbundet Heim will have information stands at Alti Heim on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Audiologists from AudioPlus will be available at the clinic or at the evening information sessions. We are happy to answer questions about anything related to hearing, hearing aids, and preventive hearing protection.

Practical Course in the Use and Care of Hearing Aids

Authorized audiologist Jorid Løkken will hold a practical course on the use and care of hearing aids on Wednesday morning, aimed at healthcare professionals working in home care services in Heim Municipality.

The course is part of a larger project we are carrying out across 12 municipalities in Trøndelag.

The aim is to increase the knowledge and competence of healthcare professionals who work with hearing aid users, giving them a better understanding of hearing and hearing aids, as well as how they can assist older hearing aid users with maintenance and everyday use.
