Why is it important to learn about hearing, hearing aids, and hearing protection?
It is estimated that approximately 1 million Norwegians have some degree of hearing loss and hearing-related functional impairment. This number is increasing as the population ages. Research shows that taking care of your hearing throughout life, and using hearing aids when experiencing hearing loss, can have significant positive effects on brain function and overall quality of life.

How to live with hearing loss and hearing aids
When you are diagnosed with hearing loss and start using hearing aids, there is a lot of new information to learn and take in. Many people feel that they do not know enough about living with hearing loss or using hearing aids.
How can you manage everyday life with hearing loss? What hearing aids and accessories are available today? How can you hear and communicate as effectively as possible with hearing aids?
Through our course on living with hearing loss, you will gain a better understanding of how to manage both hearing loss and the use of hearing aids after completing the course.
Practical courses in the use and care of hearing aids
Knowledge of how to use and care for hearing aids is essential for successful hearing aid use. Most people receive training from their audiologist when their hearing aids are fitted, but many forget how to do this properly afterwards.
Practical training in the use and care of hearing aids can provide a better understanding of the importance of good hearing and daily hearing aid use, while also contributing to more successful hearing aid use.
