Digital fitting of hearing aids

Modern hearing aids are digitally fitted, based on the results of your hearing test. To give you the best possible experience, we usually start with a gentle amplification. This gives your brain time to adjust to new sounds and makes the transition to a better hearing aid more comfortable.

Gradual adaptation – important for good effect

As your brain adapts to the new sound impressions, adjustments will often be needed. These optimize the hearing aids in relation to your actual hearing loss and provide a clear improvement in everyday life. Adjustments may also be necessary if your hearing changes over time. There should always be a noticeable difference between wearing a hearing aid – and not wearing one.

Today's hearing aids have many advanced settings. For example, we can:

• Improve speech understanding in noisy environments

• Tailor the sound profile to your preferences and needs

• Make adjustments via remote control if necessary

Booking and consultation

When you order the service, we will contact you to arrange a physical consultation at your home or a video consultation if that suits you better.

This service is not covered by Helfo or NAV, as there are currently no reimbursement schemes for private audiologists in Norway.
